GINA GALLO & DOMONIC PARIS
Creative Partners | Writers | Producers | Directors | Story Architects
Gina Gallo and Domonic Paris are long-time creative partners whose collaboration bridges both
the live-action and animated worlds, grounded in a shared passion for bold storytelling, visual
artistry, and emotional depth. Together, they have written, produced, and directed projects that
have reached global audiences and inspired a generation of emerging storytellers.
Gina Gallo – The Editorial Architect
Before embarking on her partnership with Domonic, Gina built a formidable career in post production,
where her editorial instincts shaped the pacing, heart, and humor of some of
Hollywood’s most beloved films.
Her storytelling expertise led her to feature animation, where she worked at both Disney and
DreamWorks Animation. There, she contributed to an impressive slate of hits such as Tarzan,
The Road to El Dorado, Sinbad, Over the Hedge, Cinderella II, Brother Bear 2, and more —
experiences that honed her understanding of character-driven storytelling and collaborative
filmmaking at the studio level. Gina’s editorial precision, combined with her innate ability to
nurture creative teams, makes her a trusted creative force on any project she joins.
Domonic Paris – The Visionary Storyteller
Domonic’s career has been as diverse as it has been prolific. Beginning as a cinematographer,
he shot feature films, music videos, and political documentaries, developing an eye for narrative
composition and emotional truth. His early directorial work included music videos for cult bands
like The Cramps and Blowfly, and producing the offbeat, cult-favorite Oh No! Mister Bill Show.
Domonic also produced the Reel Wild Cinema series hosted by Sandra Bernhard, along with
numerous compilation films for the home entertainment market. His eclectic background —
spanning genre filmmaking, documentary, and satire — built a foundation for his later success in
animation and feature film storytelling.
In 2005, Domonic and Gina founded Illuminata Pictures, entering a co-production partnership
with nWave Pictures in Brussels. Domonic wrote and co-produced Fly Me to the Moon, the
first true 3D-animated feature released by Summit Entertainment in 2008. The film marked the
beginning of a fruitful international collaboration: he went on to write and voice-direct five
additional animated features, including A Turtle’s Tale 1 & 2, The Wild Life, and Thunder and
the House of Magic.
Together, Domonic and Gina produced these films, cast, voice directed their international talent, and
oversaw creative direction from script to final mix. Collectively, their animated features have
been distributed worldwide, grossing over $450 million at the global box office — a testament
to their commercial sensibility, creative stamina, and ability to deliver at the highest professional
standard.
A Return to Live Action
Now with Pariscope the team has returned to their roots in live-action filmmaking
where their creative partnership first began. Domonic wrote and directed his debut feature Last
Rites, a cult horror film released by Cannon Films, and with their latest project Dead Bloom,
they’re blending their decades of craft, discipline, and storytelling intuition into a new form: a
grounded, atmospheric eco-horror film that redefines what independent genre cinema can be.
A Proven Partnership
As a team, Domonic and Gina are consummate professionals — known for their creative
integrity, resourceful production management, and collaborative spirit. They bring studio-level
precision to independent filmmaking, balancing artistry with market awareness. Their partnership
is built on mutual respect, deep experience, and an unrelenting passion for storytelling that
connects across cultures and generations.
Together, they continue to develop original projects in both live-action and animation —
championing distinctive voices, inventive worlds, and emotionally resonant narratives that
entertain while provoking thought.
